A PeptidesFridge cooler is not registered, certified or marketed as a medical device under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. It keeps a box cold.

We do not give medical, pharmaceutical or veterinary advice, and nothing on this site should be read as any of those. If you need advice about a substance or its storage, ask the manufacturer or a qualified professional.

Always follow the storage instructions supplied by the manufacturer of whatever you keep in the unit. A cooler maintains a temperature — it does not extend shelf life, restore a product that has already been out of range, or change the handling requirements of its contents.

You are responsible for making sure that whatever you store, and wherever you take it, is lawful.

Temperature accuracy (±0.5°C) and battery runtime are measured at normal room temperature, with a full charge and the lid closed. Real-world figures move: a hot car, frequent opening, a partial charge or a fully packed interior will all reduce them.

The lid display shows the measured internal temperature. Treat it as an indicator, not a certified instrument — if your use depends on validated monitoring, use a calibrated data logger as well.

Charge with the supplied cable and adapter or an equivalent certified USB-C supply. Keep the unit dry, never submerge it, do not open the housing, and do not continue using a unit whose battery has swollen or whose casing is damaged. Take a damaged unit out of service and tell our support team.

We stand behind the hardware: your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full, and every unit carries a 2-year warranty on the cooling module. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Beyond that, we are not liable for the condition or value of items stored inside a unit — including loss caused by misuse, a flat or uncharged battery, a power interruption, or storage outside the conditions above. The full position is set out in our terms and conditions.
