01About us
peptidesfridge.co.uk is operated by [REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] (PeptidesFridge), registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS LINE 1], [ADDRESS LINE 2], [CITY], [POSTCODE], United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected], Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 UK time.
02What we sell
We sell portable, temperature-controlled storage units that hold their interior within a 2–8°C window. They are consumer electronics. They are not medical devices, they are not regulated as such, and we make no therapeutic, diagnostic or health claim about them or about anything you choose to store inside one. See our disclaimer.
Photographs and illustrations are for guidance. We may make minor changes to a unit's finish or components to reflect improvements or supply changes, provided the change does not affect the stated specification.
03How a contract is formed
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it — and the contract begins — when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept it, for example because an item is out of stock, because we could not take payment, or because we spotted a pricing error, we will tell you and refund any money taken.
We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, where the delivery address cannot be served, or where accepting it would breach export or sanctions rules.
04Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price displayed at checkout when you place the order. Delivery charges, if any, are shown before you pay.
Orders outside the UK may attract import duty or local tax on arrival. Those charges are set by the destination country, are payable by you, and are not included in our prices.
We take payment when you place the order. If a price is obviously wrong and you could reasonably have realised it, we do not have to supply at that price.
05Delivery
Orders placed before 12:00 UK time, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same working day. UK delivery is free tracked next working day; EU delivery is tracked, typically 2–4 working days. Full detail is on our shipping page.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. If delivery is delayed by something outside our control we will tell you and do what we reasonably can to limit the delay. If we miss a delivery deadline that you made essential and told us about, you may cancel and get a full refund.
Goods are at your risk from the moment they are delivered to the address you gave us. You own them once we have received payment in full.
06Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel, for any reason at all. You then have a further 14 days to send them back.
Tell us you are cancelling by emailing [email protected] with your order number. We refund what you paid, including standard outbound delivery, within 14 days of getting the goods back — using the same payment method you used.
You pay the cost of returning the goods. You may handle a unit as you would in a shop; if you go beyond that and reduce its value, we may deduct that reduction from the refund. Full instructions are on our returns page.
07Faulty goods and warranty
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you have 30 days from delivery to reject them for a full refund. After that, and for the first six months, you can ask for a repair or replacement.
On top of your legal rights, every cooler carries a 2-year warranty on the cooling module, battery and display: if it fails in normal use within that period we replace the unit. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid ingress, unauthorised repair, or wear to cosmetic parts.
08Using the product
Follow the instructions supplied with the unit. Keep it dry, charge it with the supplied cable or an equivalent certified USB-C supply, and do not open the housing. A cooler maintains a temperature — it does not extend the shelf life of whatever is inside, and it does not change that item's own storage or handling requirements.
You are responsible for what you store in the unit and for complying with any law that applies to it.
09Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that: we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for the condition or value of items you store inside a unit, including loss caused by misuse, a flat battery, a power interruption, or a unit left uncharged.
If you are buying as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, or anticipated savings.
10Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by something beyond our reasonable control — including carrier failure, extreme weather, industrial action, power or network outage, or government action. If such an event lasts more than 30 days either of us may cancel the order and we will refund you in full.
11Using this website
You may use the site for lawful purposes and to place genuine orders. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at a rate that degrades service, introduce malicious code, or misuse discount codes — including generating or sharing codes intended for a single customer.
All text, images, product photography and page design on peptidesfridge.co.uk belong to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you placed the order, and we keep the date at the top of this page current so you can tell.
13Complaints and governing law
If something has gone wrong, email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within one working day and aim to resolve them within five.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
